What causes infertility in men?

What causes infertility in males?

Infertility in males may be due to various reasons such as-

1) Issues in sperm formation may be due to-
A) Hormonal
B) Disorder in the testicles

2) Duct obstruction
3) Gland disorders
4) Disorders of sperms and vesicular fluids
5) Sexual dysfunction such as low frequency of coitus or in a wrong time, impotency, premature ejaculation etc.
6) Psychological and environmental factors like smoking alcohol consumption, tobacco chewing, diabetes, chemotherapy etc.

In ayurveda the causes may be due to-

1) Excess indulgence in sexual activity
2) Any kind of mental or physical exertion
3) Wrong eating habits and lifestyle that leads to vitiated rakta and pitta ultimately causing shukra kshaya. (low sperm count)
4) Having sex before the age of 18 and after 65-70 years leads to defect in shukra dhatu.
5) Intercourse with undesirable partner.
6) Sexual indulgence in un natural ways.
