Can you still ovulate if your fallopian tubes are blocked?
Fallopian tubes connect ovaries to the uterus. The fimbriae at the end of the tube pull the egg and the egg then after fertilization travels to the uterus.
The function of the fallopian tube is to act as a pathway for the egg and sperm. The fallopian tube helps in moving the fertilized egg to the uterus. Thus we see that a fallopian tube has nothing to do with ovulation. Even if the tubes are damaged or blocked the normal ovulation takes place.
