Can infection stop a woman from getting pregnant?

Infection in the fallopian tube is commonly found in women between 20 to 40 years of age. It is commonly diagnosed when a woman complains of infertility. In majority of the cases of genital tuberculosis, fallopian tubes are the first source of infection. In 90% of the cases both the tubes are involved and this can stop a woman from getting pregnant.
